College Support
College is a time of tremendous growth and change for every student. This manifests in different ways for everyone, and we are here to support you every step of the way. This service can be used to help college students understand grades, find resources on campus, work through a change of major or a transfer to a new college, search for and apply to internships and jobs, and anything else that might arise while a student is in college.
College Transition
This service provides support to students between high school graduation and college entrance. For many, that is the summer, but it is a service available to students and families on any timeline. We offer assistance with the immense volume of paperwork required to get from one degree to the next. We can provide support with orientation scheduling, course planning, financial aid & verification, disability accommodations, learning the online platforms specific to your college, and outlining a time-management plan to ensure success in your first semester.
Accuplacer Prep Course
This is a two-hour class designed for students about to enter college. Whether you didn't get the ACT score you know you could have because you didn't have enough time, or you have been out of schools for some time between high school and college, or you're returning to college after a prolonged absence, this is the class for you! Accuplacer is an untimed placement test used by many colleges to determine which English and/or math class you should take first, if you need a supplemental course to get through your first English and/or math course, and if you need to take expensive remedial coursework. Preparation for this test can save you significant time and money in the long-run.
ACT-Prep
We offer ACT prep for English and Math through private and semi-private sessions for students throughout high school. Our program is unique because it is tailored to the individual content gaps of each student. We offer flexible pricing and pay-as-you go options to assist families as they support their students
Bridging the Gap
This is our subject-area tutoring service. We work with each student to identify and close gaps in their learning. Only with a strong foundation can students learn to thrive in their courses. This targeted method of instruction has helped students move full grade levels ahead in just months. Early intervention has even led to one student skipping a grade level in math. We have found that students do better in subjects they like, and they like subjects they understand at a foundational level.
